Life Vest Procurement for Ban Tha Muang Fishing Community Enterprise

Climate change has led to more thunderstorms off the coast causing many fishing boats to capsize. Khanom Electricity Generating Co., Ltd. joined force with the Fishing Community Enterprise in Moo 1, Thong Niang Sub-district, Khanom District to supply life vests to its fishermen members. The Ban Tha Muang Fishing Community Enterprise has 79 members, and none of them had life vests onboard, increasing the risk when they go out to sea. The company and the Community Enterprise provided each fishing boat with two life vests, thus increasing the safety of the crew.
